Tasty delicious pub food- love the roasts.Bustling with friendly locals and very friendly, staff - Shannon is always a delight.Great place for a meal, a quiz, a drink with a mate, a raucous night out or a calm coffee. Excellent location, great food and friendly staff
Have visited here several times and the staff and atmosphere are excellent, great food from the reliable chefs, great host in Frank and quality bar and table service. Spent New Years Eve here with a lovely dinner, great music from Patch Collins and all round great atmosphere. The Lamb Shank, Prawn and Chorizo broth along with the Risotto were excellent for us and our friends.

Fantastic Sunday roast lunch and Jazz
Love this old world traditional English pub. There is cosy feel to the place - old beams, fire place, twinkling lights – loved it. The staff are fantastic, there is always a jolly welcoming atmosphere, buzzing and friendly. The menu has a nice variety of different dishes to suit all tastes and vegans too. I ordered the Sunday roast and it was one of the best ever – delicious gravy, gorgeous veggies, crispy Yorkshire, nice meat, and very good value for it all. We sat there listening to the live jazz, chatting to all the other tables around and the people sat the bar. The staff were efficient and friendly. There is a relaxed, fun vibe to the whole place, what a wonderful afternoon , thanks to Frank and all in the team.

The best pub!!
We booked the square cow for my sisters birthday with 30+ people on a Sunday. Everyone loved their food the roasts were amazing. Service was so efficient, staff were super friendly and attentive. Brilliant atmosphere 10/10 for everything.

Olde Worlde and very Cosy
We had two excellent meals, mine the "special" of the day, beef sandwich with all the trimmings was delicious with really tender beef and gherkins, my partner had chicken on an avacado base salad. She loved it! This is a really popular little pub and understandably so! Friendly and excellent service! Faultless!
